No level ground that is not sloped, no going that does not return; hardship and steadfastness: no blame. Do not worry about its trust; in sustenance there is blessing.

Fluttering and not wealthy: both are a loss of substance. Without caution because of trust: this is the heart's inner wish.

Engaging Interplay: small goes, great comes; auspicious, flourishing. This is heaven and earth interacting so that the myriad things communicate; above and below interacting so that their will is one. Inside yang and outside yin, inside vigorous and outside yielding, inside the superior man and outside the small man; the way of the superior man grows, the way of the small man declines.
