Excited Stirring: The firm responds and intention proceeds; following and moving—this is Excited Stirring. Excited Stirring is following and moving; therefore Heaven and Earth are like this, so how much more to establish lords and move armies? Heaven and Earth move by following; therefore the sun and moon do not overstep, and the four seasons do not err. The sage moves by following; then punishments are clear and the people submit. The timeliness and meaning of Excited Stirring is great indeed!
